The Rowan Percussion studio is very proud of percussionist Christopher Cullen, a graduating electrical engineering major/percussion minor who was this year’s valedictorian of the Rowan University class of 2014!!!!!!! Smart and talented, a great combination.
Congratulations also go to seniors Ryan Cullen and Glenn Dawson, both of whom were selected to receive a $1000 scholarship endowed by Steve Weiss in memory of his parents, Joseph and Bernese Weiss. Good job guys!!!

Congratulations to junior percussion major Glenn Dawson on his outstanding performance of Emmanuel Sejourne’s Marimba Concerto #1 with the Rowan University Orchestra last night 4/6/14. Glenn is a music education major and the winner of this year’s university soloist competition. WELL DONE GLENN!!

Rowan University wears tie-dye on our final concert to honor “King Gong”, Steve Weiss. Steve passed away last week after a long illness. He was a true friend to percussionists around the world!!
